North Cyprus is
effectively part of Turkey but has English traditions and its own distinctive character
that appeals to the British. This historic island has a climate
that is hot in the summer, cool in the winter and very
pleasant the rest of the year making it both a brilliant holiday
destination, and a place to retire.
There is a good service of through
flights from the UK to North Cyprus, but because of United Nations
directions, all flights to North Cyprus are required to stop at Turkey
en-route to North Cyprus. Pegasus & Onur Air passengers stay on the aircraft during
this brief stop.
Connecting flights via Istanbul complete the choice
of flights to North Cyprus.
