Errors
We see numerous errors made over the internet. Some recent examples are:
| Journey booked to USA from Birmingham Alabama instead of Birmingham England. | |
| Destination inserted as Armenia. Booked and travelled to Armenia - Columbia (S. America) instead of as intended to Yerevan-Armenia in Europe. | |
| A booking to Africa was made from East London (S.Africa) booked instead of London UK. We have also had bookings from Glasgow Montana instead of Glasgow Scotland. | |
| Passengers did not realise a variety of dates were offered by computer and booked wrong dates | |
| Passengers booked connections shorter than the minimum connection time allowed and consequently missed onward flights. | |
| Passenger booked single journey - had not thought to put return details in to booking | |
| Passenger arrived in Pakistan without a visa. Another passenger refused boarding because her Belgian passport was not machine readable. | |
| Passengers not allowed to travel because Nicknames used - not acceptable to airlines/immigration | |
| Single journey (which often have higher fares) booked instead of return | |
| Client booked journey to USA not realising that the transit was via two different airports (JFK/LGA) and this added three hours to journey | |
| Bookings not completed and so the computer has not made the booking at all. | |
| Passenger arrived at airport having not collected tickets from sorting office and had nor read e-mail explaining that paper tickets needed to be issued on that airline. | |
| Passengers chose wrong currency and assumed fare was in their local currency |
