Christ Church Undercroft Works

Week Ten 12 July 2004 |

The cement screed is laid in Meeting Rooms One and Two. Work begins on a new balustrade for the internal stairs to the undercroft rooms. |

Sand, cement and water is loaded into the compressor which sends it all down a pipe into the undercroft. |
The wet screed mixture emerges from the pipe set up on the tripod and is quickly spread across the floor. |

The screed is smoothed across the floor. Laser equipment is used to ensure the level is correct. |
Our own expert woodworker Paul Harris is making a new balustrade for the stairs leading from the church to the undercroft. |
