Christ Church Undercroft Works

Week Ten 12 July 2004

---

The cement screed is laid in Meeting Rooms One and Two. Work begins on a new balustrade for the internal stairs to the undercroft rooms.

Sand, cement and water is loaded into the compressor which sends it all down a pipe into the undercroft.

The wet screed mixture emerges from the pipe set up on the tripod and is quickly spread across the floor.

The screed is smoothed across the floor. Laser equipment is used to ensure the level is correct.

Our own expert woodworker Paul Harris is making a new balustrade for the stairs leading from the church to the undercroft.
